In 2023 I assisted in the re-development of The Love Inn, located in Stokes Croft, Bristol. The venue was originally developed in 2015.

We helped establish a space that welcomed customers to relax into the evening in cosy corners with cocktails, but could also easily transition into a late night venue, with misty, bright lights. The re-development specifically focused on material and lighting. Soft ,and sometimes harsh, wooden tonnes make up the majority of surfaces in the venue, offering warmth where necessary and contrasting drastically in areas that require moments of darkness. The warm, yellow lighting helps create intimate settings that invite individuals to settle into their surroundings. This is heavily contrasted with the bright, heavy red lighting that comes out later into the night, changing the venues atmosphere whilst also paying homage to the venues original red branding.
